Abortion does seem to have an effect on total fertility

We are not talking about "total fertility".

Sure, if you criminalize abortion, there will be more children around. Unwanted children. There will also be more dead women trying to abort their pregnancies with needles as well as dodgy backstreet operations.

... which has nothing to do with comparative fertility of women with a propensity to vote democrat to those that lean towards voting republican. As I have pointed out earlier, a woman can have two abortions and then five children. Another might have no abortions and then two children. A woman might vote democrat and feel against abortions. Another might vote democrat, but have abortions.
