Re: Michelino's comment:

just think it would be neat if there would also be a CD in the back cover with the master images!

Yes, I agree. I've been considering this possibility with a project of my own -- also a book, but one with text, maps and sketches. The cost of production with photos would probably put it over the top and make it too unaffordable. However, a CD of supplemental photos would be a nice plus to the b&w text, etc... In any case, the CD would allow people to view your photos in a way that is similar to the way we experience them through your website. The possiblilites for presentation in a CD format allow for many ways of viewing the photos as well. The CD could be a terrific addition to the "package" -- heck, you could even put in some "extras" at that level.

And everyone: I feel truly honored by your discussions and ideas regarding my stuff. Can't thank you all enough!

Speaking for myself, it's been quite enjoyable discussing your "stuff". Definitelly interesting to hear everyone's ideas about how they view photos, books, art, etc.. The ideas have been excellent.

That's been done at least a couple of times. It might be less of a hurdle to overcome because it's already been done. Or it might be more of a hurdle if indeed it's only been done a couple of times; maybe the few times it's been done weren't successful.
