a CD of supplemental photos would be a nice Just got off the phone with my gal Keri, who has extensive experience with publishers. Her view of the idea was not overwhelmingly positive, on the grounds of cost. She likes the idea as such but thinks including the CD in your or my book would put them over the top -- in terms of cost to produce. Apparently it would require double the logistics: one side of the planet to produce the book, another side to produce the CDs; then would come the problem of getting the two to tango. Result? Price of production could double and make it less than attractive to publishers. She'll check into it some more as time allows (she's presently on horseback in North Dakota). I'll drop you a PM if/when she comes up with some solid info one way or the other. In any case, good luck with your project! Please update us as things develop.
