The progressives are in a death spiral because they have followed Socialism, "The God that failed." If the likes of Michael Moore represent "the progressives", the fault certainly isn't because they follow Socialism, but because people like Moore substitute personal hatred of someone (Bush in this instance) for rational political analysis. The following article illustrates what I mean. iht.com Bush's slow, hesitant reaction to the disastrous news has never been a secret. But seeing the actual footage, with the minutes ticking by, may prove more damaging to the White House than all the statistics in the world. This is the perfect illustration of the garbage my time is wasted by with the "progressive" left these days, just as my time is wasted by right wing venting about Klintoon, who is no longer in office and whose administration is a done deal and basically irrelevant going forward. What matters, above all else, is catching someone who is hated off guard (I'd like to see the typical American's response if they stuck cameras in their faces with the news of 9/11....), because that's "more damaging than all the statistics in the world". The public is being confronted with the worst lowest common denominator political pandering from all sides these days. It really is enough to make one want to puke. That is what bothers me, and not some self important "socialist" theorists preaching to their choir.
