I'm certainly hedging my bets on the "hard asset" side in case my view - that of global deflation - is wrong.

1 - The Fed has the power and the means to prevent a deflationary collapse.

Only by sacrificing banks, bond-holders, credit card companies, all creditors (the wealthy). Thus I do not believe they will do it.

This ultimately will lead to a deflationary crash.
