"Boy you really ought to look up anecdotal in the dictionary. And then look up "sight" while you're at it. You don't seem to know the meaning of either one."

Is this your argument? Are you unsure of what I meant? Or are you just playing word games, which seems to be what you are interested in. Ask me what I meant if you don't understand it. I personally think you do. Also, why not tell me what anecdotal means smarty jones? I believe I am using it correctly.

"Now you're contradicting yourself."

No I am not. But you are continuing to play your word games. All I have done is said that comparing specific problems here to cities elsewhere in the world is not relevent. You asked me for support that liberal views lead to more deaths. Since we are talking about countries in America, seems like those places have more relevence to the discussion. Please show the contradiction and I will address it.

"You say citing our more socialist allies is meaningless."

It is. We are not a socialist country. If your argument is that we should be a socialist country then state that is your position. I suspect it really is. Is it? Most of the dems want a skyrocketing stock market, unemployment under 5%, no inflation and cheap fuel prices. The countries you sight lag us in all of those areas (actually not sure on the inflation, but our rate is damn good). Why not try to help people to succeed in a better society (one that offers the most benefits to those who work for them) instead of comparing us to inferior ones?

"Generally speaking, they treat their poor with more compassion (and benefits) than we do."

This may be true. From what I have heard they don't have the rights we have in France. Sort of a guilty until proven innocent scheme. Maybe you can enlighten me. I personally love America and our constitution. I would rather solve our problems than become France.

The MS thesaurus says equivelent words would be sketchy, unreliable, untrustworty and undependable. I used it with the intent of saying your comparison was meaningless. Seems pretty close to me, but I will go with any of the words above.

What do you think it means?
