False analogy- we did not have as our purpose the liberation of Germany from the nazi regime, nor were they liberated in "just the same way" as Iraq- our purpose was to keep Germany from taking over all of Europe (and even that purpose didn't really appeal until we got smacked by the Japanese). It was not the same at all. Germany before the way was not the same as Iraq. Germany during WWII was not the same as Iraq, and Germany after the war was not the same as Iraq.
