come on man. If you can't make a judgement and determine that we are hardly as bad as saddam on your own then you are out of mind. Plain and simple.

Thanks for your thoughtful reply Zonder.

I would like to add a couple more points.

1) The US started this war supposedly on high moral ground. Well it turns out we either lied about WOMDs (probable), or were just plain stupid about them, or most likely a combination of each. Telling lies to start a war is not a good idea, and proclaiming up front "we know where they are" then not finding them sure looks stupid.

2) The reason for war was somehow changed by the administration from "mushroom clouds" and WOMDs to humanitarian reasons. We have the nerve after that and after being critical of what Hussein did to his people to go in and torture them in both Iraq and Afganistan. Torture some of them to death, in the same prison even.

3) We scrapped the Geneva convention. Bush even went so fars as to say it does not apply because the enemy does not abide by it. That is more than pretty stupid, that is blatantly stupid and arrogant. Well under the same logic someone else can do that to us because we did it to Iraq. Where does it stop?

4) The US has been harping at countries for years about detaining people, human rights, etc etc etc. Now we go around and hold people with out charging them with any crimes. We do not even follow our own laws. We ship people to Cuba and claim US laws do not apply in Cuba. Imagine Pakistan detaining a US citizen, shipping him to Zimbawe and then saying laws do not apply because he is held in Zimbawe. Would we buy that logic?

5) If the US wants to have high moral ground then it should act like it. Uphold international laws not violate them. Not discard every treaty of weapons and geneva conventions and global warming cause it feels like it wants to. Do as we say not do as we do. The current US administration is the most hypocritical on this earth.
