France's Vichy gov't was allied to Germany at the time, wasn't it? As was the Norwegian quisling gov't. And Finland, Italy, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania. Austria had been peacefully annexed into Germany. Spain we had to bribe to keep from entering the war in the west on Germany's side (though they did send the Spanish Legion to fight on the Nazis eastern front). Germany had more allies in Europe than we did. In this comparison (others chose to make the comparison and I am not the one to initiate it), we are the Nazis. No, we are not. A weasely way to make that charge btw.
