Guess what John Wayne. I voted for Reagan twice. He was a conservative Republican. He also measured his use of American power very carefully. Bush on the other hand has not acted as a fiscal conservative at all. He uses our military recklessly, like it is his own personal sword.

As for your anger and F the Arabs mentality. I felt that way for a few months myself after 9/11. I'd venture a guess that I personally was geographically and emotionally as close to the events in lower Manhattan on 9/11 as anyone here. My wife and I were in "WTF is happening? gather the kids and get ready to run to Pennsylvania" mode that day. One of her best friends lost 2 brothers that day, both brothers had 3 year old kids. My Uncle was in the North Tower. But....there is another side.

I have 3 sons and a daughter, the oldest son is 14. I'm betting that if Bush is reelected he'll follow through and further stretch our Military, while at the same time increase the number of loons willing to fly planes into towers tenfold. In tactical terms we are getting our azzes kicked in this war. World opinion right now is against us. We are bogged down in a guerrilla war that is getting worse. Reserve units in my state are being called up that haven't been used in 50 yrs. Falluja is turning into Beruit. Afghanistan is slipping back into it's old self. No economic aid is available for the "building of democracy in Afghanistan" (What a complete load of horsechit that was huh?) Saudi Arabia is teetering on the edge of revolt. Pakistan is still well...Pakistan. INS has done nothing to secure our borders. I could go on and on.

4 more years of Bush means my oldest boy turns 18 while the dunderhead phony cowboy is playing war... recklessly.... with the lives of America's boys. Think we'll have a draft by then? I do. Nothing will kill me more than to watch my son go off to some shithole country, against his will, sent by some clown MFer who sat out his turn in war, who doesn't read btw, because God told him that killing the (fill in blank here) evildoers, was the just thing to do. NFW bro. Smell the coffee. Even the best military will lose if it is not used tactical and in a measured fashion.
