So far , i have barely gone into discussing the ideas within article itself with you , for there is alot to discuss there .

You put the label of "War Mongering" on it from some knee jerk reaction of a possible association with Dubya Bush? , Yet the man is just an economist and talking from a certain perspectives of societal evolutionary and historical analysis , and offering up a possible solution for encouraging a cohesiveness within the Iraqi diverse constituent groups, by setting up an oil trust for the moneys to be equally shared and enjoyed ...and not left up to the hands of thugs.

To achieve this goal more quickly, the US could suggest creating an international public trust fund, which would offer each and every Iraqi a fraction of oil-revenues, drawing on the Alaska model (as explained in my previous article for Asia Times, Oiling the wheels of a tribal society November 20, 2003). The other portion would be transferred to central and local governments, through institutions held accountable for the spending. This arrangement would ensure that people have an immediate stake in the new Iraqi system (pretty much as the giving of land and apartments had in post-communist countries), and incentives to cooperate and prevent sabotage, and offer collateral to up-start small commercial entities. The act would also offer a clear signal that the US is there not as an army plundering the country's resources, but to enforce the establishment of the type of institutions that an oil-rich, ruthless dictator would not do, imposing heavy costs on the rest of the world. It would give Iraqis collateral and something to start a new life with. Also, with less money flowing through a central government's hands, there could be less corruption. These actions combined would also allow the US to draw parallels with the sequence of events that led to prosperity in Turkey.

And you found that his above suggestion as "warmongering"?

Think a little harder , and react less .

Even try to "think peace"....

So because there are stupid religious people, then all religion is stupid?

It would be nice to think that one could separate the idea of Religion from the fact of knowledge itself . The truth which so often sought after by men in life , is usually described in one word --->wisdom . Religion cannot be "stupid" as you say , for it is only an idea or a collection of symbols usually ethnic, folk~derived and based on certain universals that have evolved thru time in different societies , yet generally found everywhere in the make-up of man himself and whatever rituals he happens to be under the spell of this time out.

God is an idea too , a word for something and only a symbol..."GOD" cannot be stupid true , for it is just a symbol as diverse as the word we use for the natural world "NATURE". Nature is not stupid either .
(but people can be , true)

Religion is the cause of war, so we all should just drop religion and evolve to be more like you, right?

You don't know me , and no-one could be exactly just like me .
But yes , people should and sometimes do evolve ocassionally thru much effort and restraint, training and aspiration , proper education and right inspirations and with much guidance and instruction .

Are you pressing for a North Korea invasion, too?

Well so far , we have contained North Korea and thru tireless efforts that can't always be seen, have maintained some stability in the pan-pacific asian region. We (The US) are the world largest donators of food to that country making up almost 90% of the food and medicines sent to that country . A very stabilizing thing , food that is .

We could allow the Japanese to go nuclear , which could happen if the North Koreans persist on previous agressive moves towards Japan . That would be a very interesting developement ...it would not take the Japanese that very long to arm herself with the most precision and faultless weaponry.... Beijing would be quite disturbed to have an superpowered Japan off her shores.

You pretend to be open-minded, yet you spew the war propaganda of close-minded zealots.

I have always thought of the word "Spew" as ryhming with Pew, and always associated the word with Jerry Falwell and company. They are literal masters of the "Spew", and rarely seen many of them turn any swords into plowshares in their lives ...just the opposite .

Literal spasms of hate come from their unclean mouths, but in a democracy where even stupid religion is free to exist , they have assumed their rightful places in the hierarchy of imbecility.

Well , i won't be strapping any bombs onto myself bowing up helpless people and opting out soon for those seventy-two virgins Allah has waiting for me in heaven ....

I can think of better ways to reach out to people , can't you ?
