What you have in Moore is the lib answer to the idiotic right of Limbaugh, Coulter and Drudge among others.

I've been thinking that, too. Someone on the left has apparently finally figured out and effectively adopted the formula and it's not going down well with the originators.

I am less grouchy today.

Glad to hear that. Thought you might run out of aspirin.

As for the comparisons between Moore and Limbaugh, I think it's much larger. I like the Lakoff point that Ken (FL) posted, the one that argues the right has learned the political virtues of metaphors over arguments. And of staying on message. In that latter sense, he's comparable to the mindless campaign stuff of the Bush campaign in which the message of the day is endlessly and perfectly repeated. In the former sense, he may well be the new cutting edge of political metaphorical talk.

Clinton, however used a great deal of it in his successful political campaigns. Gore forgot that.
