Re WMDs, there were definitely intentions to develop programmes for planning the investigation of possibilities for re-establishing weapons of mass destruction programmes.

Which is a bit different from Condoleezza's, "Saddam has got nukes, smallpox and poison gas top-dressing aircraft and is sure to blow up Manhattan and Washington with big mushroom clouds, while spraying sarin and smallpox from Seattle to Miami, Boston to San Diego. Saddam and Osama destroyed the Twin Towers, a bunch of aircraft, a chunk of the Pentagon, not to mention a swarm of people, in a grand conspiracy of evil."

But you said that Bush said that Saddam helped plan 9/11. Where does it say that?
