Moore is full of it.

He's doing the nation a terrible disservice with his conjecture. Clarke has testified tht he approved the flights in consultation with the FBI.

Clarke is no fan of Geo. Bush. If Bush were involved in the decision, I have no doubt that he would have fingered him as the culprit without thinking twice about it.

The Hill article I provided had direct quotes from Clarke on just that John. He said he did.

Maybe he fibbed.

I don't find it plausible to believe that as late as 9-13 and 9-14, Clarke had the authority to override the FBI. And my guess is it would have taken that.

The FBI OK'd it. Then Clarke Ok'd it. He "says so" in his book and the quote KLP posted to you. What alternate world do you live in? The one with the " Bush-invaded-Afghanistan-so-Unocal-could-build-a-pipeline" reality?

override the FBI

I can't take it any more. For crying out loud, John. Clarke didn't "override" the FBI, the FBI said "nope, we're not interested in any of those folks" and Clarke OK'd sending them off. Which part of this is going over your head? Do you really insist on arguing against Richard Clarke about what HE did or did not do?

Jebus.

Derek

John,
Does clarke answer to you? How do you know what he can and cannot do? When he testifies before congress you laud him and when his testimony conflicts with fatso's film, you deride him. What a joke. Is that direct enough for you John? mike
