Face it, we're not going to stop terrorism with merely better intelligence. True, we'll need it anyway, but unless you have bonifide psychics working for the CIA (a la Minority Report), it's never going to be enough because we prefer not living in a Big Brother police state. No, I will not face it because what you don't realize that it was not only Bush's poor execution that got us into the mess we are in........it was the wrong war in the wrong place at the wrong time. Now we are stuck trying to sort out the mess. The right wants to minimize the impact but we will be paying for it for years to come. Therefore, no more mistakes and no more we-have-to-start-wars to take care of the terrorist problem. ted

Temchusatsu, Remember, there were 100s and 100s of bombing in Spain, all by ETA, for decades. When a bomb explodes, everyone assumes it is ETA. Anzar made the same assumption (which turned out to be wrong). There is a lot of left wing hot air generated about this. The left does not want to be stuck with the shameful way their fellow leftists won - with help of terrorsits, because they are a preferred government of terrorists. A lot of effort is being expanded into covering this up. Joe
