Thanks, Ted. I loved how ABCNews.com put that right at the top of their article, as if that was the main point Paula Jones wanted to convey, instead of that point being an "Oh by the way" admission. Typical of the leftist media.

Is there no pleasing you? How do you know what point was most important to her? Did she tell you? <g>

By the way, I never said the "vast right-wing conspiracy" doesn't exist. If anything, however, I think the VRWC is being elevated to mythical status, especially in every AS rant. Blaming the Dixie Chicks controversy on the VRWC? Please.

Actually, the VRWC has become overexposed and has been flushed out into the open where it needs to be. I think its much less threatening an issue than it was ten years ago.

The rightwing conspiracists never stop working. They sold us the WMD's stories, the Saddam-Al Qaida BS, then covered up when the WMD's weren't there and Saddam turned out to be innocent regarding 9-11. They investigated Clinton's sex life a la Larry Flynt, then abused the special prosecutor to do their dirtiest work.

They recently waged attacks on Kerry's war heroism, just as they did against McCain and Cleland. They are helping Nader and going after Michael Moore now. They supported Drudge with his phony "sex scandal" about Kerry. They will throw money and effort anywhere they can to slander, embarrass or spread lies helpful to their extremist cause. And they also use dupes like you to sporead their BS.

But is this just one group of conspirators? No. There are many groups within the same large circle. There is another group within the energy business which gouges and covers up energy crimes. Enron used to be its epicenter but now it has dispersed. Ed Gillespie was their top PR disinformation specialist until he was promoted by Bush to head the RNC.

One thing we know, Bush or Cheney could stop all this cheating, thieving, lying and slander if they wanted to, but they won't. In fact it seems like they encourage it. This is what I mean by the rightwing needing to start policing itself, or someone else will.

That's the point that sells papers. The media classified as rightist does it moreso -- ever read the covers of the NYPost or the Boston Herald? You don't even need to! It's always like a two-word headline and then you know all you "need" to know.

Tench,

I caught part of one of the interviews with Clinton, and he said he felt bad for Hillary when she came out with "the vast right wing conspiracy" defense of Clinton, while she was under impression that Clinton was telling the truth about Monica...
