Ted,

Such BS........its a matter of economics and the capitalist system at work. The UW [a state school] just hired a new chancellor at nearly a million dollars per year. Shocking? Get over it! Its an issue of supply and demand........a cornerstone in the capitalist economy. The demand is greater than the supply. Its typical for chancellors to make that much.

Out of the budget of how much? But I would agree that it is a little excessive.

Joe

Ted, Its no different with basketball stars, actors, CEOs etc.

I don't remember fans having to apply for "scholarships" or Perkins Loans to attend Laker games. Or watch Spider-Man. Or buy PCs.

It's hypocrisy to complain about lack of governance in corporate BoD, but defend lack of governance in university BoD.
