Perhaps I will Google, later. As for the cheerleading, of course, you have a point, but I do think that there was too much touting of the miracle economy on the part of the Clinton Administration, and too much hype about the commercial potential of the Web. Maybe any Administration would have behaved similarly, but that is speculative, when there were warnings even from well- placed execs in companies like Microsoft that a hard correction was due by the end of the '90s.
