"They're not distorting and lying. " J. Chris - when TM says the top 100% got all the benefits by your own words he is distorting and lying. Why not simply be factual? Why the need to lie and distort? I simply don't understand it. Again - I have to believe they think people are stupid and don't look at their checks. The whole kerry campaign is like this. kerry spirit - the Lying Chinus - Terry McCauliffe, Algore. Why the need to be out rageous and factually wrong? Why?

You are saying he is telling the truth, but you got some too. Unless you are in the top 1%, both can't be true. I know that I am nowhere near the top 1%, and I got quite a bit. Two kid middle income family, and it helped a lot. "but I'd rather see the deficit shrinking" If you made this argument, you would honestly be presenting your opinion and your position. I would argue the other side, but would respect your view. But what REALLY, REALLY bugs me is that dems think it ok to lie to support their views. Should tell you something (like the views can't stand on their merits). This is why the Moore film is so popular with the haters. They don't care that it is dishonestly presented, because it feeds their dislike, and that makes them feel good. Just be honest. See if your arguments stand up to the other side. If they do, they will win out.
