That's what comes from watching too much Michael Moore.

Do you think Moore (among many others) driving Honda's (as he did when he lived in Flint) might have had something to do with GM's problems in the '80's?

Or perhaps you buy Moore's sophisticated thesis that capitalism is bad and Roger Smith was just a meany.

Moore makes a very good point about Flint that I have never heard anyone refute successfully... Flint is a dump. Its pathetic. And there is 50% unemployment or thereabouts.

Wow, that's exactly the same as the unemployment rate for software people in Silicon Valley:
