My condolences to that mother and every other family member of the approx. 1000 service members killed in the war on terror. Do you value that life higher than the nearly 600 people murdered in Chicago last year? I feel sorrow for every life lost and would like to see steps taken here to prevent senseless killings the same way I would like to see American military members stop getting ambushed in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the other countries they're serving in.
