Whines about stock options all the time and can't even deliver.

Do you mean the executives at the company whine about stock options and can't deliver? I agree with that. It isn't just stock options they whine about either... last year it was California taxes, even though Intel reaped a huge windfall (and I do mean HUGE) on the back of california tax laws, and they also benefitted from California public universities in the employee base, for years.

Otoh I don't think stagflation is really INtel's fault. The stag is something the tech industry contributed to for sure, with their massive and relentless outsourcing. But not the flation part.

Isn't it clear that stock options don't have anything to do with stock performance?

Your entire post argues the case that [the way Intel handles] stock options resulted in a detrimental stock price currently, yet you end with the sentence above claiming there is NO relationship.
