Hey ralph-e,

I went to the site you posted iraqwar.mirror-world.ru -- scrolled down a little and saw this post:

This is a smart strategy by the Iraqis, prevent the US from looting Iraqi oil and they will have to go someplace else.

You get the impression that the Islamists are just sitting an waiting in Saudia Arabia for the US to return there.

The Iraq war is obviously an economic self-defeating failure since it hasn't helped in lowering oil prices or oil output and the trickle of oil that Iraq now produces is irrelevant.

The US spent $200 billion so that they could loot $20 billion of Iraqi oil money in the form of no-bid contracts.

I guess we can safely conclude that our invasion of Iraq was NOT about oil, since for $200B we could have bought a lot more oil than we ever could even get from Iraq in return for liberating them from Saddam.

Thanks for posting that site an discrediting a major conspiracy claim spouted by the critics of the current administration.
