Moemac,
Well put. In my heart of hearts I really do believe that many on the left, particularly the Hollywood types, agree with Moore that americans "are possibly the dumbest people on the planet ... in thrall to conniving, thieving, smug pricks,”..." As a matter of fact they probably would go a step further and change "possibly" to probably.
But have faith, I am sure John M. will disavow Moore now that he knows what Moore thinks of him. Mike

What I read MM as saying is that unless Americans think the way he thinks we are all....all of the above. Or am I to surmise the democrat candidates could never possess such disgusting opinions?

Hello, m. I don't, as I said before, really know what should be read into the Michael more comment. And I'm too lazy to check it out. And, frankly, don't care a great deal.

But my guess is, to repeat what I said to Mike, is that it's an ironic comment. It's a comment that says that Americans are better than that.

It's the political tongue of our time. Liberals are called worse things day in and day out in the conservative stuff you read here regularly.
