Do any of them remember Teddy's brief run at the presidency? Within hours, it seems, Chappaquiddick was mentioned.

The liberals all gloss over these little facts as if they never occurred. So brash!

Kerry leads amongst moderates and independents by some 20% over Bush now so don't delude yourself thinking Bush's problem is "liberals". In fact most of what the rightwing calls liberals" are quite conservative in different ways. More fiscally conservative than Bush for instance, as Kerry and Edwards both are. If Bush wants to try and run on gay marriage bans and abortion rights bans let him try. But that is just preaching to the choir.
