David, at least Edwards has the personality and charm that Kerry lacks. Plus he's making good use of his "trial lawyer" image, painting himself more like Ed Masry of "Erin Brockovich" fame than a sleazeball who would sue McDonalds for serving hot coffee. Not only that, but he'll also do a good job with his "Two America" message, which as you know is another form of the Democrat "divide-n-conquer" strategy of the 90's.

One thing to consider, though, is the Clinton factor. If Kerry-Edwards wins, Hillary's plans for 2008 are dead. If Kerry-Edwards loses, Edwards then becomes the front-runner for 2008, once again threatening Hillary's ambitions. You can bet that Hillary knows this, too, as she's in her backroom discussions, swearing like a sailor and making plans for her future.

All on "Survivor: Washington"!

>>>>>>> the Democratic party should be cratering some time soon. Wasn't that your prognosis a few months ago?

It still is. America is not going to elect these two extremist liberals. Isn't going to happen. Not when you have the kind of extreme competence the current administration has put forth.

Yes, that's right. Keep saying over and over again. It ain't going to happen. It ain't going to happen. It ain't going.....
