I don't know, karen. Every time I cite you an example which seems to me clearly over the top, Jewish names picked out, slur practically shouted out, you come back with some hypothetical example well within bounds, no slur necessary.

It is one thing to say, "it is in the interests of the United States to safeguard democracies in the Middle East, and the US will suffer if it throws Israel to the wolves". It is quite another to say, "the United States must safeguard Israel no matter what it costs the United States. In fact, to hell with the United States, just so long as Israel survives!"

It is especially different if the person saying it is an official of an American government, duty-bound to put America's interests first.

If you don't get the difference by now I don't think I can explain it to you.
