Since Bush let Osama go at Tora Bora when has Bush ever even mentioned Osama? He spent the next 18 months ranting about the dangers of Saddam, but stopped talking about Al Qaida. The hunter-killer teams were moved from Afghanistan to Iraq for more than a year. Finally some of them returned but by then the trail was cold. You have a nerve covering up for Bush on this. Obviously the war in Iraq caused us to take our eyes off the real targets. Not a single top Al Qaida Leader has been captured since Bush rushed into Iraq. Or are there one or two? I don't remember any. Do you? The orders to Pakistan now to capture Osama before the election are cynical as hell. All they care about is the election and they are dangling F-16's in front of Pakistan as well as forgiveness for dealing in nuclear arms. It's all about a PR victory to subvert the vote in this country. Typical of chickenhawks. They're not trying to win that war, they're trying to use it for political purposes. They clearly want the war to go on and on so they can use it whenever they want to scare voters. Iraq was just a huge fake boogey man distraction.
