I don't think that was before the war. "The orders to Pakistan now to capture Osama before the election are cynical as hell" What's "cynical as hell" is for you to hear an unsubstantiated report and portray is simple fact. But it is a standard tactic by the lefties. Not quite an outright lie (like "Bush lied about WMD's or Bush was AWOL), but a deceptive tactic none the less.
