The issue was not whether they did the same thing, evidently they did not. The issue was whether they agreed that there was a serious threat from Iraq, that we had to do something about it, and that there were compelling reasons to topple Saddam. I brought it up in the context of protesting those who pretend that the Bush administration and/or "neocons" invented the threat for their own nefarious purposes. Furthermore, Clinton has affirmed that in the wake of 9/11 and given the direction of intelligence assessments, he would have pushed for invasion.
