Americans Take Aid to Cuba in Defiance of Embargo

HAVANA (Reuters) - A group of Americans openly challenged the Bush administration's tough new restrictions on Cuba on Saturday by traveling to the Communist-run island to donate 126 tons of aid gathered in the United States.

Wearing T-shirts that said "Regime change in the US, not in Cuba," the 120 members of the Pastors for Peace humanitarian organization arrived in Havana from Mexico before a shipment that includes school buses, medicines, medical equipment, computers and books.

They are not the only ones........the Cuban Americans are incensed. Bush actually believes that the Cubans visiting relatives has kept Castro in power because they bring stuff from America. He honestly believes that this has made a significant difference and turned abject poverty into a flourishing economy.

In the meantime, every friend who has gone to Cuba in the last 5 years says the place is falling apart and the people barely have enough to eat. Its a joke.

And Bush's ban on gay weddings has turned into a joke. Every time he expresses his disdain, a new slew of gay weddings happens.
