JW, I do not overlook the issues you post but in a polite discussion you should not attack if some one is not following exactly your script. You are interpreting the FX level based on one or two dimension at a time the issue is substantially much more complicated including factors such as economy, politics and perception. I whish things would be as simple as you post.

Please post what in you opinion is a balanced value of the USD or dollar index one to two years from now

As you claim to know so much about FX kindly advise what to do next week with the following positions

Sold on average over 10 days ago EUR/USD puts at strikes of 1,2300, 1.2320, 1.2350, 1.2380, 1.2430 expiring by end of July / First week of August - should I close and take profits or wait for worthless expiry

Bought on average over 10 days ago EUR/USD calls 1.2300, 1.2330, 1.2350, 1.2380 expiring next week - should I roll them over or take profits.

JW - Kindly advise how much energy would be saved and as a result less imports of energy products if this technology is successful and applied to 25% to 30% of office buildings and 30% to 40% residential dwellings in the US.

How will this technological advancement improve the trade deficit? $$$ please

Electricity from geothermal generators cost around 12 cent per KWh according to the article - tippet my chip in as to the actual cost of cooling or heating using the equivalent of one KWh ( not sure about the efficiency of air conditioners - I think heaters are over 90%)
