If we were interested in hitting terrorist camps in Iraq we would have targetted them directly and bombed their training camps when we had the chance. To suggest that we invaded Iraq to get at terrorists is BS. We let them get away - a common pattern -- and focused on Saddam instead. Now they are one of many groups killing our children.

I "operate" by seeking the truth. YOu could pick a dozen countries run by people we hate -- people who have done bad things and people who pose a threat. In 1991, Saddam would have been very high on that list. In 2002 he would have been very low on that list while others had risen to a prominent level. I "operate" by pointing out that e had choices and we made bad ones. And I explain why.
