i have no problem with weed... what i do have a problem with are the people who say weed is harmless (not that you're among those)...

let's look at a few of the things caused by weed use in males:

lower sperm count
breasts growing
lack of short term memory or coherent speech
lowered immune system response...
yada yada

having said that, i agree with you that it is a travesty that alcohol is legal while the other drugs are not... unless of course you want some SSRIs ('antidepressants') in which case 'they' are handing them out like candy...

but we've already been over this ground so i suppose i'm preaching to the choir...

100 years ago in this country... you could get any drug... we need to get back to that...

this whole priesthood that we've allowed to have been set up by the pharms, the shrinks, the DEA , the 12-steppers, and their (now) attendant treatment centers and entanglements with the legal system; these all have to go...

we need to go from 'oh let's make drugs legal and set up a bunch of government funded treatment centers' to instead, 'let's rescind the drug laws.. and if you're a screwup, don't expect any help from the government'...

that would more resemble my view of a 'real' america, at least with regard to 'drug policy'

as it is, the treatment centers, the 12-steppers, the courts, the pharms, the shrinks, the DEA... they're all involved in this very anti-american thing called, 'the war on drugs'

the 12-steppers need to go back to having their meetings, and not being affiliated with courts or treatment centers... as it is, they violate their 12 traditions in continuing their present behavior...
