It seems to me that killing begats killing. We lost over three thousand in the WTC on 9/11 and now there are 900 more of our men and 10.000 Iraq's dead and is anyone safer. This is the more salient question. If we are then maybe we can say, it's all been worth it. My worry is that we are not safer as I think that we have ticked off, as it were, more zealots who now want to harm us more. Not that I have an answer.. But I ponder the issue... Could we have done anything differently. The eye for an eye from the Old Testament and then in the new Testament it is turn to him the other cheek.

I say these things not to incite anger, hate and but to have us all question, did we do the right thing ?
