The big thing they have in common is their hatred for us. That is non sense and Bush propaganda. You have been brainwashed. Saddam is a thug and not someone who has a specific dogma like Osama. Saddam will do anything for money and whatever perpetuates his power. He was under the control of the US at all times except when he went astray and invaded Kuwait. When he did so, the US brought him inline and put him back in his place, which is Baghdad and kept him confined to that place. THey could have pulled him out of confinement and put him to work against Osamam at will.
