The rich need to be taxed a little more in the US. They're the ones who benefit the most from our system. So they need to give the most back. Bush has the opposite view of things, that if you're rich you deserve a free ride at everyone else's expense. That's not fair or right.

Ted, with the money the previous owners of my house made off of my wife and I, they were able to buy a home in Idaho. And I'm talking cash from the appreciation alone. Plus they lived here in this house for only two years.

Why do you think housing prices in California have gone up substantially? It isn't just interest rates, you know. And as far as I can tell, CA's infrastructure is doing just fine. I've never driven on more well-maintained roads, nor seen more beautiful malls or government buildings anywhere else in America (except for the obvious tourist attractions, of course). No wonder so many people, like us, want to move here.
