<< It's fake if you say you are against it, but want the states to decide it.>>

This is about as stupid as it gets. I'm sure many Senators are against property taxes but believe it's up to the states to decide how to raise revenue. Would they all be fakes too?

Or what about the death-penalty? Is anyone who supports it but thinks it's up to the states to decide a fake too?

States' rights is a legitimate principle that many Republicans hold highly. But to you, they're all fakes? Right?

<<It wouldn't be shot down if no states adopted gay marriage, but as you know Mass Supreme court has already written law saying same sex marriages are legit.>>

You're the one who wrote:

Leaving it up to states is a problem (as you well know) because people move from state to state sometimes. You knew that didn't you? To expose your fake "argument", if one state says it is illegal for gays to marry, is a couple that married in a different state married when they move?

It's pretty obvious you don't know there's a federal law saying exactly what happens in this situation.

As for being knocked down, the Defense of Marriage Act will be decided by the US Supreme Court not in Mass, so what makes you think it won't stand up?

<<Show me where I stated anything otherwise. You're being a bit dishonest here,>>

You said Bush's support of an amendment banning gay marriage may help him with an electorate which opposes gay marriage. But the majority, in many polls, oppose Bush's amendment.

So who's being dishonest, who's comparing apples to oranges?
