The barbarians declared war in an attempt to preserve their 16thC, male-dominated, Koran twisting way of life. How can they blame the USA for injustices of Mideast life? We buy the oil--their own governments should have shared the wealth with the general population. If they were going to incinerate over 3,000 people it should have been the greedy, arrogant, ignorant, silly looking saudi royal family or Saddam Hussein & his henchmen. By the way, your favorite quote to the effect that nothing is good or evil, unless thoughts make them so, is not one of the Bard's best pronouncements. There is definitely good & evil in the world, even if no one ever entertains the thought. It's like saying nothing is wet or dry unless thoughts make them so. Visited Niagara on the Lake couple yrs ago--it's about 225mi from home which is SE. No, not from old sod altho' visited twice. Half my ancestors emigrated to USA from Co Mayo about 1880. Yes, kissed the blarney stone & have sung Molly Malone on occasion. In fact, have a photo of her statue in center-city Dublin along with Sean O'Casey's. Father's family came from Nottinghamshire, England in 1867. Americans can be a curious mix. I've loved/hated England alternately through the yrs(depended on whether I was reading English or Irish history). Tony Blair has inspired me to recently tell my Irish cousins where to go. They appeased Hitler as well...some people never learn.
