surprising CNN poll last week
"DO YOU BELIEVE TERRORIST WARNING ALERTS ARE BASED ON SECURITY ISSUES OR ARE THEY POLITICALLY MOTIVATED?"

answer with something like 3000 votes

8% security issues
92% politically motivated

the public is getting wise to this Administration
even Homeland (Faderlandt) Secy Ridge is being challenged by Congress on a revamp of the red-orange-yellow nonsense

The point is that whereas there is room for your opinion, there is also room for other opinions.

Though you pretend ownership of the truth, the truth is subjective. Others can possess a different truth than yours, drawn from the same facts, and be just as correct as you are.

To pretend that you are right, to the exclusion of others, is selfrighteous.

To prefer diatribe to dialogue is offensive.

You selectively draw from arguments you are comfortable rebutting, yet often omit the meat while dissecting the gristle.

You can do better.

I’ll so offend, to make offense a skill,
Redeeming time when men think least I will. (1H4 2.1.208-17)
