In the US, by comparison, the rate of increase in the eighties was sixty percent. In the nineties it was eighteen percent. You are surprised it slowed down after a 60% increase? You get to the "law of diminishing returns" on this somewhere. The total numbers are still going up. I look on allowing gay marriage as a symptom of the problem. Allowing it lowers the standards again. Check the numbers, if you can find them, for kids in trouble with a father/no father present. I know the numbers are awful, and so do you. Anything that lowers the standards is bad for the kids.
