its obvious you don't come from enterprise software AmyJ. Not a slam or anything just an observation.

The "mobile worker" has about as much to add productivity wise to an organization as maybe one feature of a real CRM or SCM system. And, the mobile workforce is the same group that is under offshoring pressure- white collar professionals.

CRM systems really revolutionized the enterprise and there were direct hits to the bottom line, you could do something and save maybe .05% off the cost of sales just with one transaction as an example. The mobile workforce is just an executive toy at this point. Sure, maybe somebody could come up with something to have that kind of effect on US businesses but then we are back to the old "next big thing" argument.

Take a look at accel or kleiner to see how many "mobile enterprise" startups they are funding. One or two at most. Good which is the #1 mobile workforce startup just got a bunch of money but its the only game in town. I know the company, its an ok opportunity
