FACT: There is no evidence to support the supposition that better funded schools turn out better educated kids. None, whatsoever.

This is one of those things experienced conservatives realize while idealistic liberals don't. You can stand back and throw money at government programs from now on, but it will not insure, or even enhance the possibility of, a successful government program. Education is but one example.

FACT: The public school system has turned out some of our most outstanding citizens and continues to do so.

Why suddenly now is it no longer any good? Is it because the right is tired of paying for private school tuition and wants some of that public money going into its pocket?

Let me think......yes, that sounds about right. If only the right would get honest, we could cut through the $h*t a lot faster.

It isn't logical that schools that can give students access to the latest technology and can retain good teachers would be able to educate their students more effectively than ones which can't? Of course it's logical. There are other factors involved, but all things being equal, I'd rather have my kid in a school with money than one without.
