I resent that. Would you like explicit instructions on up just which orifice you can shove those words? You're the one shoving the Sedition act in my face. You're the one defending the Patriot act. So you know where you can shove what. I never said we live in a dictatorship. You're partners in crime have said so many times. Do I hold you to what CYBERKEN posts? You really are losing it. We want to make sure that no one can be jailed and held with out charges and without access to legal council. It appears that the USSC has said just that now that the cases have reached it. That's correct. Found unconstitutional. But did that stop Ashcroft from putting it forth? When you shut down opposing views and threaten jail for it, then you have effectively eliminated democracy and free speech. Pray tell, exacly who has done that? In a position to make it stick, I mean? Well that's what the Sedition Act you posted is all about. Can it stick? Let's hope that laws like that have been shelved for all time. That much of the Patriot Act will follow such folly into the sunset clause. All I can say is that all Americans should be able to disagree with their government. In fact much of the people in government disagree with the government. Ever watch CSPAN? Endless debates and disagreements. That is the American way. Debate and discussion...if you don't like it then move to Russia or maybe you'd be happy in Egypt. If you promise to go there and not come back...I'll buy the ticket...Mastercard...I'm bored. Orca
