I will be buying some bear funds, specifically Rydex RYVNX, which tries to be -200% of Nasdaq 100. Will be looking to buy puts on overvalued Nasdaq stocks , considering BEARX, a discretionary (no index) bear fund.

Nasdaq looks bad, lots of air pockets, like early April 2000.

Still about 60% invested, mostly in energy, utilites, PM miners.

Big event this week got to be Greenmumbles starting tomorrow with rerun on Wednesday.

He is going to say, though not in the exact words, that the economy is really not so hot. The Fed has no chance of raising rates without risking the mother of global recession.

Immediate reaction:

dollar down?

gold up?

financials up - expecting another round of refi mania?

what else?
