it's funny -- there was an article in our local paper today about some call center jobs moving in from a small town about 30 miles away -- this town has to be the call center of the USA -- lots of folks willing to work for 8-9 bucks an hour I guess -- anyway, the paper said an economic boost accompanied the move Man is that dumb -- 200 jobs move 30 miles and somehow it is an economic boost -- sure it is a boost for this town, but a 200 people are getting the boot in the small town they moved from ... Nevermind it is low pay service sector jobs that could all be gone tomorrow -- just like your example -- or outsourced.
