So we have a $20 stock that grew EPS by over 100%...

with $3.88 per share in cash...

expected to make 55¢ next Q

Lets say they "only" do $2 the next 4 quarters... that gives a forward PE of 10 before you subtract the cash.

0.4B per Q in sales.. that is about $1.6B a year.

Market cap is 2.65B... subtract cash of $0.54B and you get an adjusted mkt cap of 2.1B

so Price/sales is 2.1B/1.6B = 1.3

even with the cash, P/S is 2.65/1.6 = 1.7

I'd say LRCX is seeing 1974 bear market bottom type valuation now... price/sales of 2.... forward PE under 10...

thus I expect it to go lower... -g-
