Or maybe not. Everybody's entitled to a roof over their head and food, right? It's even more basic than health care, right?

Many people cannot even afford that, especially on minimum wage.

Therefore subsidized housing and food is already happening. Ever hear of HUD and USDA?

We're still the only industrialized country that does not have health care.

Now I guess we could keep going on the way we are by paying outrageous prices for health insurance. As the insured base shrinks and inflation continues, what's going to happen? Even more people uninsured?

And maybe that could be solved by creating living wage jobs where you can actually afford to be robbed blind.

And another thing Selectricuted, Do you think I actually make the decisions around here? Aren't you married?

When my wife says we're not going to be ripped off by these effing insurance companies any more, do you think I'm going to go against her wishes? She says build the addition, screw the insurance...and I say yes honey.
