Couldn't agree with you more. Exactly my point. Except, you forgot the infringement aspect. Compete is one thing, but how to do it without infringement is another. Don't forget that Q's IPR portfolio is many times over the original 4 basic patents. Are they essential?? Yep, you betchum Red Rider.
