I know that is another branch of Taiwanese who's ancestors were from Mainland China as well. They may have some blood of westerners and SE China Sea nations. They isolated from China for very long time. It is just the matter who were the first. Well, if you want trace origin of human race you may have to go to Africa. Do you want to move back to there? <G>

Hello Spotted.Cat, I am actually quite disposed towards an independent homeland for the Hakkas asiawind.com , once we can decide on where the optimal location is. Ideally, some place warm, with no majority indigenous or large numbers of migrant population, is energy self-sufficient, has lots of fruits and berries, lots of ocean frontage, ... some place like New Zealand or Caledonia perhaps... better yet, maybe Taiwan :0) I do not like the Israel/Palestine model, trying to wrestle with folks who can put up a fight for a long time, nor do I relish the prospect of the Sudan equation, involving a lot of messy work.
